Yeah... the whole Blog thing kind of died in favour of my LJ. It's unlikely that I'll be making any further posts here, since I'm sure no-one checks it any more in any case. The page will remain as my links page, possibly with occasional updates. Yay!

For actual updates, see my livejournal. It's better.

Well, for the third time in as many days, I was going to update my LiveJournal tonight. And, for the third time, I have shown my inability. No real excuses tonight, just feeling really tired after getting up at 7:00 AM (after going to sleep at 2:00). I'm sure there will be an update tomorrow, no really, there will be. I have so many cool quotes to use, too. Ah, c'est la vie.

Stupid LiveJournal.com is down at the moment, right when I want to update. Bah!

Okay, the one thing about Hikaru No Go that's really annoying... it's incredibly addictive. There's currently 94 chapters of it on Toriyama's World, and they all end in cliffhangers of one kind or another. The 94th chapter (the one I've just read) ends on one of the biggest cliffhangers yet. And now I have to wait for the next chapter to come out! Aargh!
Just a note to anyone interested in Go or Manga: Hikaru No Go is one of the best Manga I've ever read, and as a bonus, it's all about Go! Highly recommended to anyone.

Well, I've decided to put the beginnings of my story up for public perusal. Note that this isn't a complete story, just the first section, although it can kinda stand alone as a really short story. It's basically my first experiment with writing, so don't expect too much.

Happy reading!
Slept in until about 3:30 today. Not happy about this, and not sure why it happened either. Just didn't feel like getting up, I guess.

Apparently I missed seeing Steph by ten minutes or so, when she was in need of snuggles and a friendly ear. Very disappointed.

Coman is being a wonderful friend at the moment. Big hugs for him.

Ended up playing Tekken for about 6 hours today. Tom was ignoring his vow, because it is exam period, so apparently it "Doesn't count". I have discovered that I'm actually pretty good at Tekken now, and I can beat Tom about four ninths of the time. Aaron, for all his bluster about "owning" us, sucked. Well, he was ok. He'd be even with most of the people in UniSFA.

It's so nice to have this blog, and be able to ignore the restriction I imposed about the quality of writing in my LiveJournal. Here I can write whatever crap I want, and not have to worry about making it sound good, or be witty in any way. Oh, the freedom!

I think I will post the first part of my story up later tonight. Hopefully people will think it's ok.

Well, I think I've got most of the bugs ironed out of the template. It's still not quite how I want it to be, but I'm not too fussed.

In other news, I started writing a short story yesterday, as I was caught up in a surge of creative energy spurred on by the threat of having to study. At some point, probably when it's finished, I will upload it to my UCC webspace. On the other hand, what I currently have could almost be the first episode in a series, so I might choose to post it and others following in an episodic style. Stay tuned.
Going to a picnic tomorrow, with Steph and Davyd, and possibly others. Yay! :)

Also, Rae is allowing me to join her campaign, which sounds like a lot of fun. I'll be joining sometime in the next couple of sessions, hopefully. Rae is very excited about the whole business, and is generally being evilly gleeful. It's cute how much fun she is having, messing with her characters' and players' minds.
As an experiment, I have decided to try a blog instead of a livejournal for a change. This page will probably tend more towards the 'random thoughts' style than the long entries I have on my journal. Also, this will be an attempt to become more familiar with the basics of HTML. Yay!

I guess I'm now neutral in the Weblog Wars.
